“Try not to Feel Bad”: Arvind Kejriwal versus Assam’s Himanta Sarma Over Schools

Two days after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attacked the BJP-drove Assam government over its schools consolidation plan, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma yesterday tested the Aam Aadmi Party boss with information on new schools in his state. Mr Kejriwal, known for his angry tone, turned to political technique all things being equal. In accordance with his changed disposition since he sent off a pitch to “Make India Number 1” trying to situate himself as a public chief, he said he would have rather not brought up imperfections with the Assam government.

“We are each of the one country. We need to gain from one another. Really at that time will India become the main country.

I will come to Assam. Let me know when might I at any point come? You show your great work in the field of training. You come to Delhi, I will show you the advancement here,” he tweeted in Hindi.

The Delhi Chief Minister had before remarked on Assam’s choice to blend schools that had kept zero pass rate in class 10 assessments this year with different schools. “Shutting schools isn’t the arrangement. We simply have to open many new schools all around the country. Rather than shutting the school, work on the school and make instruction right,” he had said.

Answering it, Mr Sarma pummeled the AAP head saying, “As expected you remarked on something with practically no schoolwork!”

Posting separation of information, he expressed that since his days as Education Minister till now, the Assam government has laid out/taken north of 8610 new schools.

“The number of new schools Delhi government that has begun in last 7 yrs?” he corresponded.

In the mean time, Assam Minister and Mr Biswa’s nearby helper Pijush Hazarika, who had yesterday attempted to address Mr Kejriwal while likewise blaming him for “obliterating” the schooling quality in Delhi, ripped into him refering to a media report on the “dropout strategy” of the Delhi government.

“Yet again the drop out strategy of @ArvindKejriwal ji’s World Best Education Model became known according to this report by The Wire.

Sadly in 2017-18, just 3,812 understudies were readmitted out of 42,503 understudies who couldn’t clear Class X tests,” he tweeted.

34 government or government-aided schools and another 57 venture schools that had zero pass percentage have already been shortlisted to be shut down or merged with other schools, officials have said.
