Asia Cup 2022: NIT-Srinagar asks understudies not to watch India versus Pakistan cricket match in gatherings

SRINAGAR: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) here has asked its understudies not to watch Sunday’s India-Pakistan Asia Cup cricket match in gatherings or post anything connected with it via virtual entertainment stages.
In a notification gave by the senior member of understudies’ government assistance, the foundation organization has requested that the understudies stay in their dispensed rooms during the match.
“Understudies know that a cricket series including different countries is happening in the Dubai International Stadium. Understudies are thus coordinated to accept sports as a game and not make any sort of indiscipline in the foundation/inn,” the notification read.
During Sunday’s match, the understudies have been coordinated to stay in their apportioned rooms and not permit different understudies to go into their rooms and watch the match in gatherings, it said.
“In the event that there is a gathering of understudies watching the match in a specific room, then, at that point, the understudies to whom that specific room is distributed will be suspended from the foundation inn convenience and a fine of essentially Rs 5,000 will be forced on every one of the understudies in question,” the NIT said.
The understudies have likewise been coordinated to try not to present any material related on the match via web-based entertainment stages. Besides, they have been told not to get out of the inn rooms during or after the match.
