The previous India captain didn’t go with the group in the wake of testing positive as the BCCI delegated NCA head VVS Laxman as India’s break mentor.
Since returning positive in the test led on August 23, Dravid had been going through home disconnection.
Prior, BCCI secretary Jay Shah made an announcement where he expressed that the Indian lead trainer had gentle side effects.
“Group India Head Coach Rahul Dravid has tried positive for COVID-19 in a standard test directed in front of the group’s takeoff to the UAE for Asia Cup 2022.
“Dravid is under the oversight of the BCCI Medical group and has gentle side effects. He will join the group once he gets back with a negative COVID-19 report,” Shah had said in a delivery.
